Fee Insure

Fee Insure covers external professional fees incurred by an insured party to respond to or defend any form of audit undertaken by a Government agency against previously lodged returns that relate to a financial year(s) that have been insured.

Fee Insure Plus

Fee Insure Plus covers external professional fees incurred by an insured party to respond to or defend (A) any form of audit undertaken by a Government agency against previously lodged returns lodged that relate to a financial year(s) that have been insured and (B) legal proceedings taken against the insured party during the current financial year that arise from commercial disputes. As (B) (the Legal Fees section of the policy) does not provide any cover with respect to legal proceedings that are of an individual, personal or domestic nature unless the legal proceedings have arisen from the individual conducting or operating a business. Individuals insured under the Fee Insure Plus policy are only covered for (A) (the Audit Fees section).

Cover obviously does not apply to any knowledge or advice of a pending audit investigation or legal proceedings which, prior to the commencement of the insurance, the insured knew, or ought reasonably to have known, was likely to give rise to a claim under the Fee Insure & Fee Insure Plus policy.
